Paul has had extensive experience working with Emery Vincent Design, one of the country’s leading design studios, for over ten years. In addition, he has collaborated with other design groups and worked in his own studio to develop outstanding creative solutions. Paul has worked for high profile Arts clients including Bell Shakespeare Company, Bangarra, International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture, Musica Viva, NIDA and The Independent Theatre to name but a few.
Primarily focusing on concept and art direction in photography and image making, as well as the execution of a breadth of creative design solutions,
Paul brings with him a core understanding of strategic context and creative design development and production of campaign driven projects.
Tim has practised as a graphic designer & illustrator for print & web for the past 15 years. His design experience has been predominantly in the areas of theatre, music & publishing.
For the past 15 years Tim has been instrumental in helping establish & evolve the visual identity for Sydney’s Belvoir St Theatre. Tim has worked for Review, the arts supplement in The Weekend Australian newspaper, receiving several awards from the international Society of News Design for cover illustration & design. Since 2004, he has designed for Kids at the House season as well as numerous touring productions at Sydney Opera House. Work on other Alphabet projects includes Sydney Festival, Legs On The Wall, Regents Court, Riverside Theatre’s Spot On festival and the Casula Powerhouse Performance Season.
Lara is based in our London studio and has worked with Alphabet studio for five years. A talented designer and image maker, Lara’s unique style has been utilised for a selection of promotional products and campaign material for our Arts-based clients including Sydney Festival, Musica Viva, Belvoir and Pinchgut Opera.
Lara is also responsible for successful identity design and corporate application for many of our clients including the recently rebranded Music Council of Australia, master and sub brands for Accessible Arts, Form Dance Projects and the Sydney Festival identity to name but a few.
Lara is also proficient in motion based programs including After Effects and Final Cut Pro. She has conceptualised and created motion pieces for many of Alphabet’s clients.
Fin’s extensive knowledge of motion is invaluable when activating and bringing traditional design assets to life in a ‘moving’ environment. Working on TVC’s and cinema ads for MAAS (Powerhouse Museum), Belvoir St. Theatre and Sydney Festival to name but a few, the digital platform is integral to our process and deliverables. An exciting and ever evolving territory, Fin is responsible for creating dynamic interprestations of print based campaigns, invigorating brands and extending the opportunity to express stories unique to our clients.
A recent graduate of Visual Communications at UTS, Fin has the rare combination of strong design principals, comminication acumen and technical expertise.
Belinda is a 2013 graduate of Design College Australia in Brisbane, receiving the Design Institute Australia’s Visual Communication Australasian Graduate of the Year Award. Belinda is our newest recruit at Alphabet and has already applied her keen design eye to projects for clients such as Sydney Festival, Flickerfest, Seymour Centre and Sydney’s City Recital Hall.
