Tim Kliendienst
Creative director & Co-founder

Tim has worked as an art director, graphic designer & illustrator for print & web for the past 20 years. His design experience has been predominantly in the areas of the arts, music & publishing. For the past 15 years, Tim has been instrumental in helping establish & evolve the visual identity for Sydney’s Belvoir St Theatre. He has worked for Review, the arts supplement in The Weekend Australian newspaper, receiving several awards from the International Society of News Design for cover illustration & design.

Work on other Alphabet projects includes Sydney Festival, JC Decaux, Legs On The Wall, Sydney Opera House, Riverside Theatre’s Spot On festival and the Casula Powerhouse.

Tim’s innate understanding of collaboration and mutual respect has seen him nurture working relationships in excess of fifteen plus years.

Paul Clark

Creative director & Co-founder

Paul primarily focuses on concept and art direction. He brings with him a core understanding of strategic context, creative design development and production of campaign driven projects. Working with national and international organisations, he has collaborated with a range of high profile brands. As part of Alphabet Studio, he has worked alongside prominent and respected organisations including Bell Shakespeare Company, Bangarra, Sydney Jewish Museum, Musica Viva, City of Sydney, Sydney Festival and Powerhouse Museum (MAAS), working together to visually communicate what’s at the heart of what they stand for.

Johanna Bredberg
Managing Director

Johanna has a Bachelor of Science in Media Technology from University of Malmo, Sweden. Specialising in managing print and digital design, she has worked on large scale projects like the 2015 campaign for Sweden’s feminist party during a national election, Basta Biennalen art festival hosted by The Modern Museum in Malmo and clients such as Lunds Konsthall Art Gallery and Lund Comedy Festival. As a conduit between creatives and clients, she is exceptional at ensuring goals and objectives are met and communicated clearly and efficiently.

Jo is instrumental in project managing varied and complex briefs across digital and traditional platforms. Planning, defining, distilling and scheduling initial stages through to final implementation of projects including Audrey Journal, Ensemble Theatre, Evie and Sydney Festival to name but a few.

Georgia Trotter
Designer

Georgia has worked with Alphabet studio for four years. A talented brand and campaign designer, Georgia’s unique style and approach has been loved by many of our clients including:
– JCDecaux
– Griffin Theatre
– Belvoir St Theatre
– Sydney Festival.

Georgia is also responsible for successful brand identity design and corporate application for Liberty Industrial, Henley Reid and Manchester Collective.

Finlay Downes
Designer / Animator

Fin’s extensive knowledge of motion is invaluable when activating and bringing traditional design assets to life. Working on projects for MAAS (Powerhouse Museum), Belvoir St Theatre and Sydney Festival to name but a few, Fin is responsible for creating dynamic interpretations of our campaigns, invigorating brands and expressing stories unique to our clients. He has the rare combination of strong design principals, communication acumen and technical expertise.
