Australia’s wild and uncompromising snowy mountains

was a special treat. We worked as designers, editors and copywriters on the production of his book, Kunama (meaning ‘snow’ in the Ngarigo language). Hailing from Cooma NSW, Charles’ incredible images of Australian wildlife reflect an individual who loves and cares deeply about the environment and its native inhabitants.

The subject matter informed the design process. The final publication is a respectful representation of extraordinarily intimate images. Close attention was applied to the pace and rhythm of the book, as the reader is taken on a visual journey through Australia’s wild and uncompromising snowy mountain landscape.
