Shaping change

The 23rd World Congress on Safety and Health at Work is a global forum where over 3000 participants from 120 countries over 4 days exchange ideas, discuss research and best practices, and look at practical solutions to critical issues in the area of occupational safety and health. Sydney was the host country in 2023. Across the world, workers are constantly adapting to changes in the workplace environment. A new era of work health and safety is emerging, driven by increased connectivity, technology, demographic shifts, employee wellbeing and flexible work arrangements. Alphabet created the brand mark and developed all campaign assets to define and promote the international event.

A visual expression of the meeting of minds, exchange of ideas, and complex conversations about the 21st-century multi-faceted reality of the changing worker, the graphic resolve employed the 2 and 3 as building blocks to express the coming together of different ideas, people, opinions, strategies and practices.

The theme of the 2023 World Congress was Shaping Change. To emphasise this,  a suite of graphics that can be constantly reassembled to visualise key event themes as well as icons associated with Sydney as the host, worked as an integral support graphic language across multiple communication touchpoints. Alphabet developed a robust graphic system for a wide range of contractors to use and apply to promotional comms, event collateral, wayfinding, digital platforms and merchandising.
